How "Value" is scored: Value is driven primarily by 2026 season points, with a small 12-month helper (ร—0.2) so a thin 2026 sample isn't the whole story โ€” a strong year ago only nudges, it doesn't decide. Divided by price. The Excellent โ†’ Poor tier is ranked across the whole field: PCS points already count every way a rider scores (GC, stage wins, breakaways, one-day races), so a GC leader and a sprinter are compared on total output โ€” and a genuinely strong rider is never buried in "Poor". Riders with 2026 wins (the Wins '26 column) get a win premium folded into their Value and tier โ€” +5% per win, up to +30% (6 wins) โ€” because PCS points under-reward the stage/race wins that score big in the fantasy game. This lifts sprinters and breakaway stage-hunters (e.g. Cort) on the same honest basis; riders with no 2026 win are untouched.
